The bride is Elena Zhukova, a retired molecular biologist, marking Murdoch's fifth marriage.

The wedding took place at Murdoch's estate and vineyard, Moraga, located in California.

Murdoch's previous marriage to model Jerry Hall ended in 2022, his fourth divorce.

Elena Zhukova is also the mother of Dasha Zhukova, a prominent art collector.

Dasha Zhukova, Elena's daughter, was previously married to Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich.

Murdoch had been briefly engaged to Ann Lesley Smith before meeting Elena Zhukova.

Murdoch and Zhukova met through mutual friends, including Murdoch’s third wife, Wendi Deng.
