NASA announces new launch date for Boeing's Starliner astronaut-crewed mission
NASA announced the new target launch date for the first astronaut-crewed flight into space aboard Boeing's Starliner after several delays.
The first flight will attempt to launch on Saturday, June 1, at 12:25 p.m. ET, with backup dates set for June 2
It comes after the launch of Starliner was delayed several times. The crewed flight test was tentatively scheduled for May 6
United Launch Alliance (ULA), which manufactures and operates the rockets that launch spacecraft into orbit.
A new launch date had been set for May 25, but a small helium leak was discovered in the service module
