In the late 1960s, Jones became an off-road racing pioneer.

Jones drove the revolutionary STP-Paxton Turbocar in the 1967 Indy 500.

He won numerous off-road races, including the Baja 500 in "Big Oly."

The bill has strong backing from Republican representatives and senators.
