“Explore the resolution of long-standing rumors about Khloé Kardashian’s paternity following O.J. Simpson’s death. Discover insights from the Kardashian’s DNA tests and statements that put to rest the speculations about Khloé’s biological father.”
On April 10, O.J. Simpson, a name synonymous with one of the most notorious legal battles in American history, passed away at 76 after a long fight with cancer. In 1995, he was acquitted in the high-profile case involving the murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman. During this trial, Robert Kardashian, now deceased, was part of Simpson’s defense team.
For years, there has been persistent speculation that Simpson might be the biological father of Khloé Kardashian, Robert Kardashian’s daughter. Kris Jenner, Khloé’s mother and Robert’s ex-wife (married 1978-1991), was a close friend of both Simpson and Brown and supported Simpson’s children after Brown’s tragic death.
In an effort to quash these rumors, O.J. Simpson explicitly denied any paternal link to Khloé in 2018, stating to TMZ, “Trust me, I have nothing to do with [Khloe and her family]. I would be proud if I had anything to do with it, but I don’t.”
Further intrigue was added in 2013 when Ellen Pierson, who was married to Robert Kardashian at the time of his death from esophageal cancer in 2003, claimed she was told by Robert that he was not Khloé’s biological father. This claim surfaced through a tabloid that published excerpts from Robert’s private journal, which Ellen had sold.
Despite these controversies, the Kardashian family has consistently refuted these rumors. In 2018, the Kardashian and Jenner siblings participated in DNA testing on an episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” which confirmed their familial bonds. The results showed Khloé to be predominantly of European and Middle Eastern descent, aligning with Robert Kardashian’s Armenian heritage. Upon learning her results, Khloé shared them with her siblings, prompting Kourtney Kardashian to affirm, “You are my sister.”
